The Flash Season 7 Episode 15 The Flash isn’t really the sort of show that does a lot of what you might call long-lead storytelling, so the fact that the show has been teasing the return of villainous speedster Godspeed for over a year is a fairly unprecedented event. Granted, “Enemy at the Gates” is maybe not the episode that all that build-up deserves, since it tells us precious little about where all the Godspeed clones are coming from or what they want....

As you can tell by the deployment of that name again, with no numbers or subtitles following it, The Grudge wants to be both a reboot and a sequel. It is the first of the entire franchise to take place solely in America, although it does briefly connect in a prologue to the Japanese house in which this whole mythology started. At least I think that’s the case, because the film is so confusing in its overall use of multiple timelines that I doubt even Smart Hulk could sort it out....

When Commander Lawrence and the other Sons of Jacob were designing the Handmaid system, they failed to take a few key things into account. “Part of the equation we overlooked,” Lawrence told June in season three. “Mental health – obviously. Maternal love – we overlooked that one too. So many regrets.” It’s little wonder the system was flawed; it wasn’t exactly designed by a brain trust. Viewers witnessed its conception back in season one episode ‘Jezebels’....

The experience of seeing primitive surgeons dressed in angelic white, surrounded by seats of mustachioed men wearing their Sunday best and staring down at a lifeless body is so intensely bizarre. Photos like this are dripping with a grim atmosphere that very few documents or art can really capture....

Five years after Return of the Jedi, a gunslinger comes to town in the latest Star Wars phenomenon. The Mandalorian took the internet by storm last year, thanks to the central duo of Pedro Pascal’s titular bounty hunter and the adorable Child, aka Baby Yoda. Even if you aren’t a hardcore Star Wars fan, the story of a heavily armed mercenary suddenly becoming a father figure to protect the mysterious and Force-sensitive Child is very charming....

When Galadriel calls Adar‘s kind — captured Elves tortured and twisted into becoming Morgoth’s evil minions — “Moriondor,” which translates to “sons of the dark” in Elvish, Adar says he prefers the term “Uruk,” which is the word for “Orc” in the Black Speech of Mordor....

The declaration is more than accurate, as the independently owned publisher is celebrating its 80th anniversary with the massive CW hit Riverdale entering its sixth season (one that will bring on board Kiernan Shipka’s teenage witch from the late, lamented Netflix series Chilling Adventures of Sabrina as a guest star). Despite the TV success, comics are still Archie’s bread and butter, from the digest reprints that beg for impulse buys at the supermarket to a series of innovative titles that have seen Archie and his “pals and gals” become critical darlings....

“Ideas in abundance.” Believe it or not, that’s a curse pronounced by Morpheus in “Calliope,” one of the best stories in The Sandman. “Ideas in abundance” sounds like a particularly strange curse for The Sandman, the seminal Neil Gaiman comic book series so rich in concepts and themes that the Netflix adaptation retains much of its depth, even as it necessarily cuts or reimagines some elements. Fans of the series will get to see more of those abundant ideas soon, as Netflix has announced a surprise 11th episode to The Sandman season 1, which adapts not only “Calliope” but also another fan-favorite tale, “A Dream of a Thousand Cats....

Sadly, The Simpsons’ “The Star of the Backstage” can’t go Rent-free. The techies, theater-geeks, and all the animators pull out almost all the stops for the season 33 premiere, but offer a mixed bag, even when it takes a Wicked turn....

Here, we’ve chosen ten hits, which doesn’t imply greatest hits of the series, it only means these are more or less sanctioned by the commission. We also tossed in a couple of misses, which are classic moments of hits gone wrong. Because some DNA can always be found under the cracks, we tossed in some deep cuts. And to keep the conversations lively, we figured a novelty or two might be a good for a dark chuckle....

The breakout fan favorite character in 2016’s Suicide Squad, Robbie’s interpretation of the one-time Joker henchwoman turned antihero extraordinaire was so winning that Harley got her spinoff in this year’s Birds of Prey movie. And like just about everyone else who’s gotten the chance to write or portray the character, who was originally created for Batman: The Animated Series by Paul Dini and Bruce Timm, and voiced by Arleen Sorkin, Gunn couldn’t resist the anarchic glee Quinn brings to the written page or screen....

They’re not even the only victims. Erskine, the doctor who accused Bobby Morgan’s father of abuse has also been found dead in his house....
